Music Thru The Night With Mike Kellogg
July 5, 2013 in Ministry of the Week
WTGN is honored to be your source for Moody Radio in Northwest Ohio! Being a Moody Radio affiliate, we air a variety of Moody programs throughout the week and weekend. Music Thru The Night with Mike Kellogg is one of those programs heard Monday through Friday beginning at 1am.
This Program shares a “blend of personal biblical insight and encouraging stories of believers with warm inspirational music.” It also “ministers to a wide demographic of listeners—both young and old—and serves as a reminder to look to the power of Jesus Christ over the disabling, negative influences of this dark world.
Kellog serves as a friend in the night, pointing out biblical truths to confront the pressures of a culture moving farther from God, and closer to a marginalized worldview of His divine influence. Music Thru The Night is constantly pointing to eternity—the truth that a godly life is not simply about heaven, but about living for God, in Christ, on a day-by-day basis…now!”
Now a little about your host: “Mike is a senior announcer with Moody Radio. “Music Thru The Night seeks to minister to the late-night listener, by presenting a relaxed yet direct message of the fullness of a life yielded to Christ. In addition to his duties as host of Music Thru The Night, Kellogg can also be heard on the two-minute daily broadcast Today in the Word. Kellogg was the winner of the 1980-81 Religion in Media Award for his role in the dramatic radio presentation of Treasures of the Snow. Kellogg received his education at Cedarville College in Cedarville, Ohio. He and his wife, Nancy, have six children and 10 grandchildren and live in Valparaiso, Indiana.” Information can be found at: musicthruthenight/
